oh, the good old movies. I started to watch Hammer’s horror movies starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee 1 month ago and now I’m completely stuck with them. lol

Now there’s a mummy who walks like he’s been dying to take a dump for 3000 years.
But I still prefer the Karloff original. Zita Johann was a major schweng!!!

@wisinlover2002 i still love the classics. i am big fan of 50′s,60′s 70′s, sci fi, horror.. todays stuff just doesn’t do it for me. special effects are ok ! just not realistic. watch the original time machine or a classic universal monster flick. you will see what i mean.
Dude, acting and talent is ok… But what do you say about the great special effects of today’s? Well, as long they don’t exaggerate them, as in 2012…
@ovech… Please, tell me if in this movie the mummy grabs a man by his nose with a “clothes hanger”?? I remember that when I was a little kid my parents and I went to a hotel and in the TV was a scene like this (I think the scene was in a library or so)… I want to find that movie, so I will be grateful for your help.

Lee proves how good of an actor he is by managing to act (incredibly) through quite a lot of wrappings!

I’m sorry but to me that’s not very good acting. Those people could out run that mummy any day. My gramma could out run him!! I prefer the new versions.

the originator is better than a branches.
in my opinion ! this classic stuff ! is so much better than todays computor stuff. i love this classic flicks.todays movies leave me flat ! compare , the remakes to the originals. time machine vs. 2002 remake,planet apes vs. remake,dracula 1932 vs. all remakes,etc… no comparision. they relied on acting and talent.

Great Hammer film. I actually prefer the Hammer versions of the Mummy and Dracula over the Universal versions.
