Here we go The Dark Knight big hit 2008 I’ll get into the flaws yes I do think people overrated it but it’s a great action movie. Christian Bale, Micheal Caine, Gary Oldman & Morgan Freeman all reprise there roles Maggie Gyllenhaal replaces Katie Holmes as Racheal Dawes Arron Echart plays Harvey Dent & Heath Ledger who as we know died after filming this movie plays The Joker. Story after a year or 2 Batman has been cleaning up Gotham city & now needs to apprehend The Joker Batman needs all the resources to get The Joker so D.A Dent & Gordon to get The Joker D.A Dent has made a lot of enimies especially with Maroni so most of the crime bosses hire The Joker but you see The Joker wants chaos in Gotham He wants to bring the best of people down to his level. Harvey Dent & his girlfriend Racheal Dawes are kidnapped & put in diffrent locations when Batman arrives he finds Dent instead of Racheal the cops are to late both buildings are blown up Racheal is killed & the blast hits part of Dent’s face.

This is a must own Bluray! I saw this movie on my Honeymoon in Hawaii and another two times when I got back home. Easily will be best Batman movie in years to come! OWN IT! Dec 9th!

While this flick is miles better than the filth that was Batman and Robin it is not without its flaws. First of all the movie is way too long with several scenes being far more expansive than they needed to be and others that should have been cut outright. It also seems to suffer from the “will it ever end” syndrome that many accused Return of the King of and while I didn’t feel that the numerous endings that occurred during the ending to a three part saga, I couldn’t help but feel like the film had reached a satisfying conclusion halfway through. As with many other comic book films of late there seems to be a tendency to throw two villains against one hero. Its the flaw of the comic book to movies genre that while comic books tend to draw out a narrative over several issues a film must be wrapped up in two to three hours requiring the viewer to be tossed from one action sequence to the next with rare pauses for exposition. While this film is a bit better creating the atmosphere and fleshing out the characters it still seems like they tried to cram too much in. It would be unfair not to mention Heath Ledgers performance in any review and I have to say I loved his Joker. I still have yet to see my perfect on screen version of the Joker but Heath is far and away the best yet. An entertaining but far from perfect film.

This movie is amazing! I saw it twice with my fiancee and we placed a pre-order on the blu-ray the day it was available for pre-order. Can’t wait to receive the limited edition!
