Green Lantern is one of those characters who requires the filmmakers to choose a tone and stick with it. Either go completely comic or completely serious.

My favorite interpretation of the Green Lantern character was his incarnation in the “Justice League” cartoon. Take a look at the episode “In Blackest Night” if you want to see a Green Lantern story done right.

2011′s summer movie line-up has been one of the best in years imo,but GL is definitely the biggest disappointment in the entire genre in years.Not since the first Fantastic Four movie have I been this disappointed by a Superhero film.Also annoying is the fact that people keep referring to GL as a B-list Superhero.
