i usually dont bash bad movies (as I try to avoid viewing them) but I made the mistake of watching this and want everyone to know that it should be avoided. the director, Michael Mann, likes to pride himself on being a bit of a outlaw. He succeeded by getting away with highway robbery and making this abomination.

I think it would have been a better movie with Matthew McConaugney and Terrence Howard as the lead actors.

I grew up with the ORIGINAL Miami Vice series. I've am a bigtime action adventure affectionado. This movie just missed the boat. I didn't find myself being drawn into a story at all. I didn't FEEL like this was an action/adventure movie - just 2 actors getting a paycheck and showing some skin so the fans don't feel thoroughly jipped.

I don't see how they couldn't feel ripped off! Hey, I like Jamie and Colin. But...C'mon guys...you gotta pick stuff that is worthy of the work you've already done.

If I was in a movie theater, I would have walked out LONG before this diatribe finished. I couldn't have tortured myself with trying to watch it there. However I had it BEAMED into my hotel room at a PREMIUM - so, I already had wasted the money...so I kept looking for one sliver of a redeeming quality to this movie. I couldn't find one.

Why make Cockett's character LOOK like he did? I didn't get that.

Why the gratutious sex scenes (yes, multiple)? Neither character NEEDED the sex scenes where they were placed - and Rico's was what - extended just to fill up the time, to try to detract from the LACK of a well written script?

STEALTH was much better than this (and it didn't gross well).

I was thoroughly BORED with this movie. I anticipated that it would be bad, but not THIS bad.

Save your money and the aggravation of watching this. Otherwise you'll just end up saying I told you so. Rating: 1 / 5
