This dim humerous entertainment from 1989 was a great showcase for Winona Ryder, personification a high propagandize lady brought in to a class of bitchy classmates (all declared Heather), and Christian Slater, you do his early Jack Nicholson thing. While Ryder’s impression mulls over the consequences of giving up one set of friends for another, her organisation with a brand brand new child (Slater) in propagandize turns out to have lethal consequences. Director Michael Lehmann incited this surprising movie in to something some-more than an additional teen-death flick. There is genuine quick mind and pointy joke afoot, and the really alloy of abhorrence and humerous entertainment is provocative in itself. Heathers stays a kind of benchmark in à la mode motion picture for bringing surreal comprehension in to Hollywood films. –Tom Keogh

Una pérdida de tiempo. A mi gusto se trata de una pelÃcula sobrevalorada, llena de clichés y lugares comunes, con pretensiones de ser más de lo que realmente es. Lo único rescatable es el rol de Winona Ryder, que de por sÃ, hace que valga la pena ver cualquier bodrio, y hace menos penoso el haber invertido mi tiempo y dinero es ver este pseudo panfleto ochentero.

Heathers has to be one of the funniest teen movies ever made. Wionna Ryder made a carrer makig movie in the lead role as Veroncia. Christan Slater proved he was the next Jack Nicholson in his role as JD. And all of the Heathers are hilarous with their one liners. Check it out

In the DVD extras, Winona says “This is a comedy about a serious matter.” However, I was watching the surface action and it did not take the time to think about any underlying meanings. I had no idea that Moby Dick does not contain the word “Eskimo” as pointed out in the movie. I was surprised as the different events took shape and can see myself in that situation. I had fun watching this movie.
I grew up in a different environment than the one in this film. C Rations before 1955 contained only one box meal with fruit. That was the ham and lima beans box; during high school and 60′s, we were lucky to have one “Heather” to a class. In the 60′s the military issued “C” rations in which there was only one box with fruit in it. Now in the time of MRE’s (meals ready to eat) that has fruit in just about everything, Heathers abound. This requires the JDs of the world to once again bringing a natural balance to the high-school society. You will want to view it again for the nuances.

Just thought I would provide a quick written review of the BluRay production only of this movie. You either like the movie or you don’t.
The BluRay is pretty good quality, sound is solid and picture is very good considering the age of the film. Proably not worth an upgrade if you own the current DVD release, but a good addition to almost any movie collection.

The classic black comedy Heathers has been finally released on Blu Ray by Anchor Bay!!! Great PQ,sound and extras!!! Anchor Bay did a great job w/ this one! A+
