@angelmarine1292 Really? Its been awhile since I read the book and I would understand why non readers would get confused but really man? Either you read the book badly or you read the wrong one, or maybe you just flat out didnt pay attention? If you have a sense of the ideal plot of the book, then the film shouldn’t be that hard to follow.

@martinxy4 I exxagerated, what I meant is, they left out a HUGE amount of important and entertaining details altogether, even though the idea of two films was to allow better story coverage.

@angelmarine1292 True. I really really agree. From the moment I saw the film for the first time I was disappointed that there was little story coverage for the amount of silent minutes the film had. I hope they explain more in the second part.

@JG16riffin Oh that reminds me, they ended the first film at a point where roughly 2/3 of the story was over in the books. They’re just going to turn the second movie into one overdrawn bloody battle scene. Disappointment.

@angelmarine1292 What the hell?! That’s such a drag ¬¬ Seriously, i mean, they’ve just ruined the series now. And I’m usually really happy with the films. I’m starting to see a real flaw in the development with Deathly Hallows. It’s like with Slughorn and his memory … they’ve tampered with it too much.

@angelmarine1292 Really? THe only key detail that I really wanted that wasnt shown was Harry’s touching moment with Dudley. You cant do anything about that will be missed from the book. With the exeption of how Harry got that piece of mirror, I thought the omission of Ron’s disease and RAB’s side plot, was ok and undamaging to the story, plot hole wise.
