GREEN LANTERN (MOVIE REVIEW BY ANDERS WOTZKE)
05Oct
Anders Wotzke reviews the DC superhero crack Green Lantern, that was expelled in the US months ago but has usually only found the approach Down Under. The movie stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard and a hulk poo cloud. Which is fitting, really, since the movie is rsther than shitty. 1:54 Ha, ha, ha! Captain Ribena!
Hey idiot Mr. Rush who played Tomar Re wanted to give whoever is not familiar with the Green Lantern story sort of an introduction.
So anyone can get it.
MORON.
i love your review but to me this movie sucks and to me the worst movie of the year because i love the comics!
ADHD camera work.
The Justin Bieber footage scared the living shit out of me.
Good review. Shit film.
@jubri88 haha good call! Green Lantern could have done with a crack of Doom, or at least have the decency to hurtle itself into one…
@amymelissa89 thanks amy!
I love watching your video reviews Anders – they always make me smile =)
Keep up the good work!
if I had a ring like that I would throw it into the Cracks of Doom as soon as possible, magical rings are not to be trusted! every little hobbit in their right mind knows that… wait, what? wrong film? oh I guess I haven’t seen it then, I’ll watch the review a couple more times instead
@mwaa2009 thanks! Not much money in film reviewing, so I’ll take what perks I can get!
@ttaryn and comments like that make mine
@cutprintreview awesome! i cant wait :]
Your skits never fail to make my day!

@crazycrazyppl Well, Apes was less bad acting than it was bland characters. And I stand by the Potter trio being wooden. But still, I appreciate the considered reply. I realise my snarky sense of humour isn’t going to please everyone, but I don’t think I’m a person who doesn’t appreciate everything. X-men: First Class, Insidious, Harry Potter, The Beaver, Super 8, Troll Hunter and Tree of Life…. all movies I gave mostly positive reviews to.
@crazycrazyppl shhhhhh
@cutprintreview By no means am I saying that this movie is good. Oh gawd it was awful! I’ve seen your other reviews and this is just my opinion of how I see you. I’m not criticizing your opinion at all. For example, you might say the move was filled with bad acting (like you said about the leads in HP and some in Apes), but when I see the movie I did’t see anything bad at all. The dialogue was spot on and no character bothered me. Watch “The Mystical Adventures of Billy Owens” for bad acting.
@crazycrazyppl I call it like I see it. The last thing YouTube needs is another person who likes everything and sugar coats any negativity out of fear of getting haters and dislikes. That defeats the purpose of movie criticism. If we just lay down and accept every crappy and soulless CGI mess Hollywood churns out, we’ll never truly appreciate the occasional gem.
So if I don’t like a movie, you’ll know about it. That doesn’t mean I think my opinion is law, but you can bet on it being honest.
Hehe you just keep getting better Anders. And cup cakes mmmm….some people get all the perks
Try not to be a douche when reviewing movies. If u are trying to be funny, make yourself likable and not a person who does not appreciates anything.
omfg i love your reviews u should do tons of them!!!
the leprecorn killed me
@AlanGunn97 I might have..
@SomethingAboutMovies Thanks! Informing whilst Entertaining…that’s basically my mantra! The free booze and cupcakes certainly softened the blow of the average movie.
@BenGriffithsReviews Yeah, if it’s released the same week in both AU and US, we technically get it two days earlier because of time difference and the fact that out movies come out on Thursday, while theirs come out on Friday.
@cweffer Yeah, it’s a shame because I does hamper my views. Also, it makes it hard to see a movie without heavy preconceptions from all the American reviewers. Still, this summer we got most major movies in sync, so it’s hard to complain too much! Thanks for the comment
