I RECENTLY PURCHASE THE DISNEY PARKS (THE SECRET STORIES AND MAGIC BEHIND THE SCENES)WAS REALLY EXCITED WHAT THEY WOULD SHOW.SAW THE FIRST DVD AND WAS OK BUT SEEN MOST OF THE BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE RIDES FROM OTHER DOCUMENTARIES ABOUT DISNEY SO THAT DISAPPOINTED ME AND AS I WAS GOING THROUGH THE REST OF THE SET IT WAS REPEATING SOME OF THE STUFF FROM THE PREVIOUS DVDS SO I RECOMMEND JUST GETTING THE UNDISCOVER DISNEY PARKS AS THAT WILL HAVE MOST OF THE DOCUMENTARY OF THE PARKS.WOULD HAVE EXPECT MORE NEW ITEMS THAT HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE.

Since this was released by the Disney organization I assumed (my fault entirely) that it was produced by Disney and equal in quality to the previous parks material released in their Treasures series. This is not the case. The DVD is the product of a subcontractor who does okay work but (surprise) not up to the standards of the Disney organization itself when talking about their premiere product, the theme park. It views like a standard industrial house ad, or basic-cable non-fiction television with absolutely none of the magic that happens when the real Disney team is on the job.

Is’s a fantastic display of Disneylad and Disneyworld attractions. If you’ve never visited it, you will enjoy the information, tips and insiders info. If you’ve already been there, it’s wonderful to remember! In the DVD there are three titles:
1) Disneyland Resorts: Behind the scenes, where they give a very close look of some of its best attractions. Imagineers and creators comment and explain attractions;
2) Ultimate Walt Disney World, where the same happens;
3) Undiscovered Disney Parks, where they give tips of (I wouldn’t say) “unknown” or little known attractions, like driving a Nascar race car or being escorted on a visit. Mostly they are the VIP tours, i.e., the very expensive tours…
I didn’t regret, and I’ve imported it from Brazil. I recommend it.

I just got back from Disneyland last week and was having Disney withdrawal so I decided to watch the Disneyland special. There really isn’t any new, insider information on this blu-ray but the video quality more than makes up for it.My biggest gripe is how little time is focused on classic attractions like The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. There is no attention given to The Enchanted Tiki Room or Club 33. The disc also focuses on California Adventure and Downtown Disney and the resorts although the last two are very brief. All in all, this is a decent disc but the 6 dvd set covers much more and maybe what you are looking for.

My husband and I are big fans of Walt Disney World and this box set was very fun and informative. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is planning the 1st visit of their 100th visit.
