I wouldn’t say he got his ass handed to him; he did massacre about 99 Grey Knights (many of them terminators) before he got banished by (can’t remember his name), who became a Grey Knight Master after banishing Angron.

Khorne doesn’t absolutely hate T zeentch, it’s Slaanesh he’s totally at odds with; but the chaos gods have their rivalries with each other, and the first invasion of Armageddon was done by a pure Khornate force.

Khorne does absolutely hate Tzeentch, he hates sorcery more than anything else, it’s in Dark Sky, Black Sun by Graham Mcneill. Khorne is only okay with Nurgle.

Read much Chaos fluff, and you’ll find that his main antagonist and opposite is Slaanesh, not Tzeentch. All of the Chaos Gods use sorcery and magic, not just Tzeentch, though sorcery is Tzeentch’s strong point.

All of the Chaos Gods don’t really like each other, as is in the nature of Chaos.
