I am SO glad I was wrong. The smaller Steve Rogers worked perfectly within the context of the movie. It was jarring in the trailer. I loved what they accomplished with the period setting. (LOVE Rocketeer too)
This is currently my favorite movie of the year. Super 8 and X-Men right behind.

@schmoesknow Look, I’m over 50 and think I can be pretty open to a lot of films. Personally, I don’t care for Rotten Tomatoes for the reasons you state. I tend to ignore what they say and a long time ago stopped even going to the site.

just saw this film and i agree with you guys, i thought it was good, some parts did get a little slow tho, i saw the avengers trailer you guys were talking about too and while it did get me excited for it, it didnt reveal as much as you guys were probably hoping for

i loved the movie. but i would have liked it better if it came out on the 4th of july lol. just would have made a TON of sense
