i just watched th whole thing. wasnt that bad. idk why people are complaining about the deaths of the animals. sure its fucked up, and that turtle was at least 150 years old, but animals get killed all the time. humans eat meat, how do you people think we get that meat? thats how humans have survived for centuries. its fucked up but its true. and does anyone else here think that Paul Rudd from anchorman looked just like Robert Kerman? lmao

i watched this film over a year ago and it’s still stuck in my head. That music (0.38) is probably my favourite movie theme ever. shit freaks me out. the turtle getting killed was disgusting
@NOHHissue of course i know that, but to kthe killing of animals in tribes are not as brutal as in this movie (example: the turtle) farm animal abuse is another scandal endeed. But just to kill animals for the perversion of filming and selling? thats just fucked up, the producers and the director of this film were civilized people, not like the tribes you are mentioning

cannibal holocaust was disturbing 30yrs ago but so was the rest of the cannibal films made during that time, but now none of them is disturbing, they are just very mild films,, compared to other films available
Although i totally respect CH for its “Ball out of the bath” attitude, i wouldnt say its the best cannibal film ever made. Theres some shit that rivals CH. Also, CH aint a horror film

Shot with tranqs and then peacefully killed? Do you even know how farm animals are killed? None of them were remotely senseless, or even pointless as the cast ate everything they killed.

This movie is brilliant. All the shock value stuff isn’t really even necessary. It’s well crafted for how fucked up it is. The entire concept and psychology of it is amazing.

@pikajesus I opposed them killing the turtle but I think decapitating the turtle before anything allow him to not suffer. But at the same time I wonder what one feels when their head is cut off. He was still alive after his head was cut off but was his brain still recieiving nerve signals from the cut on his throat even though his head was no longer attached to the nervous system? I think the stabbing of the muskrat maded me sick to my stomach especially with the way he was screaming. Damn.
@Necropulsate What distubrs me about Cannibal Holocaust is that anyone person whther its your neighbor or friend or even family member can have such a sick twisted mind set that you never know if anyone of them would one day kill you for for what ever reason or rape your kids or what not. @CharlieDidItOfficial Texas Chainsaw Massacre didnt have that much gore. The most graphic part was when he bashes the guys head with the sledge hammer and than hangs the chick on the meat hook.

I think it was grosser, but stabbing that rodent-thing was more disturbing to me (note, I’m not dismissing the scene you’re talking about, it just didn’t bother me as much… though I think one of the actresses *started* to puke on camera). I hunt small game, but I don’t get stabby like that. It’s just mean. Regardless, if we’re talking about the same flick (hard to say with the imports) the blonde dude getting his wang cut off was pretty realistic. Yeowza!
